The Early Postpartum Recovery + Movement Program fills in the gap for navigating exercise safely and effectively during early postpartum.

The general guideline to wait 6-8 weeks to return to exercise postpartum is unclear and inconsistent. Research has changed for returning to exercise in the early postpartum period. Exercise at an appropriate intensity, such as core rehab and walking, leads to improvements in core and pelvic floor strength, energy, and sleep, and may even manage or prevent postpartum depression. While we should wait to return to running and heavy lifting, early core and pelvic floor rehab is essential in supporting your daily movements and preparing you for when it is time to move forward with exercise.
